I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Southern Germany has the best food! This includes Flammkuchen (which is technically French (maybe? Alsace is one of those regions that changed nationality quite often, so who knows what it was when they created tarte flambée.)), one of my favorite dishes. It’s a staple around here in fall, but just as good in the middle of winter.
